Euro 2012 discussion

With the next set of Euro 2012 qualfication matches coming up later this week, I thought I'd make a discussion thread.

I can't wait for England and Montenegro's match next Tuesday. We've played brilliantly in the last 2 games, and with any luck that form will continue.

I'm also looking forward to seeing how Northern Ireland and Italy get on in their game on Friday.

Congrats to N. Ireland on holding Italy to a 0-0. I can't believe whats happened to Italy since they won the world cup in 2006, they've become a very poor team indeed.

A spirited comeback by Rep. Ireland, but not enough to secure them any points, a shame really, I like to see the home nations do well.

The only thing Wales have to take out of their match is a very late red card...

lol, that wasn't the sort of performance we were expecting was it?

We had the best of the match and should probably have had a penalty, but thats Football. They need to put it behind them now. Next match against Wales in March, so plenty of time for players to return from their injuries etc. Montenegro don't play now until June, so if we beat Wales we will be level on points with them

It was very anti-climactic to say the least lol.

We surely will have more luck against Wales, but its a very long wait until March.
