Goal Line Technology

I thought it would be interesting to see what people's opinions were on the possibility of goal-line technology being introduced to football.

I, personally would like to see goal-line technology being introduced. With goals obviously being the most important factor in any game of Football, it would be good to know that if and when the need arrises, there is a way to tell with 100% certainty whether a shot crossed the line for a goal or not.

I agree. There have been too many occasions over the years where goals that should have stood have been ruled out and vise-versa.

Personally I don't think occasions where goal line tech would be needed are regular enough to warrant the expense of using it. If it was introduced though I think it would have to be used in every match, because otherwise you can guarantee that these situations where it would come in handy would only happen in matches where it wasn't being used.
